Katie O’Neil, Family Nurse Practitioner, completed a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine and wants to help you on your journey to Wellness. She has always had a passion for helping others and has lived that passion through her work as a Nurse Practitioner. A Jacksonville native, she graduated from MacMurray College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1999. In 2006 she completed her Masters Degree in Nursing at Western Carolina University, and has been Board Certified in Family Practice since 2007.
Advanced Training. While in graduate school she obtained clinical experience with Asheville Endocrinology Associates, and instrumental in her passion for wellness was meeting and training under Dr. James Biddle of Asheville Integrative Medicine (former secretary of ACAM-American College of Advancement in Medicine). She returned to her hometown and began working in the Jacksonville area in 2010. She has held positions in Family Practice, Geriatrics, Wound Care, Dermatology, Mental Health, and Public Health. In 2015 she began advanced training in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine with A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine), studying under Dr. Sherry Li of the Global Anti-Aging and Wellness Center (Macomb, Illinois).
In 2019 she completed her Fellowship studies. In 2020 she was one of the first Nurse Practitioners to apply for and was granted Full Practice Authority by the State of Illinois, allowing her to practice independently under the exclusive advanced licensure of the State, Nursing Board, and Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Her professional interests include Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Autoimmune Disease, Nutrition, Bio-Identical Hormones, Adrenal Fatigue, and MTHFR mutations and treatment.
She is the daughter of Richard and Diane Webster and mother to Galen Diana. In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, travel, and reading. She has recently started a victory garden and enjoys learning new things.
